Here are a few from a recent session this past weekend. I just had to share these. The word "inspiring" comes to mind when I reflect back on this session. After taking some time off, I needed some "inspiration" to get me back in the swing of things. And, God definitely knew exactly what I needed to inspire me. He blessed me with photographing this beautiful family and they provided me with a renewed sense of inspiration and commitment to my passion. The three daughters were just so beautiful and precious...Each and every one in their own special way...
Thanks Drummond family for reenergizing my creativity! You are so blessed with your gorgeous daughters. It was a pleasure meeting you and capturing your angels, your love and your life! :)
Enjoy and be inspired! More to come of this session soon...Keep checking back. I have other session I will be posting over the next few days too! Its soooooooo good to be back!!!!!!! :)
I know I have been on a hiatus for awhile. But, I am back. And, I have some new sessions to share. And, lots of upcoming Spring sessions are scheduled. If you want to schedule your portrait session for Spring, please email me at cj@angeleyesphotographybycj.com or at 256-655-4800 before our calendar is completely booked.
Here are a few of the newlyweds during their first dance. I must say shooting this really tugged at my heartstrings. I literally had chills as I was photographing them dance and look at each other. I could "feel" the love flowing between them as I photographed them. It was a special moment and I am so happy I was able to capture it for them...
Here is my most recent painting of my oldest daughter that I had commisioned from Lavone'. The original is quite different from the final painting. I was amazed by all the details and creations Lavone' put into this one...My daughter absolutely loves it and we are redecorating her room based on this painting and the colors in it. Enjoy!!
Here is another painting I had comissioned by Lavone' for one of our close friends for Christmas. I meant to share this earlier but I wanted to wait until we had given this gift to our friend first. And, time has slipped away from me and here we are in mid January. She did a fabulous job with my original image and created such a beautiful work of art. I just loved how this turned out for them. Enjoy!!
As promised, here are a few images of this beautiful bride. You might remember her from her engagement portraits last fall. She was a gorgeous bride and so happy on her wedding day. You can tell her and her hubby are truly happy with each other. Enjoy these few...Have much more to share of the gorgeous couple and their special day...
Hello everyone! I am finally back tending to my poor neglected blog. Its been a month since my last post. I have been enjoying my time off with my family for the holidays. We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. We celebrated New Year's in New York which was amazing! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!!
And now, I feel completely refreshed and ready to be back. Back to my passion...photography!! I have a wedding to share here soon...While I was in New York, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful little 9 month old angel too...Stay tuned. New photos are coming soon!!! :)
Hello out there to all my blog followers and beautiful clients...Thanks for being patient with me during this busy busy time. The season came upon me so fast this year. I can't believe Christmas is almost here! It just doesn't seem possible. I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet (well, maybe just a little but I do have more to go)...I am trying to get everyone's pictures, jewelry and goodies in on time...and am still proofing some too...like a wedding that I know the bride and groom are so very anxious to see...I can't wait to share that with them and my followers too...Some awesome pictures from that wedding...They are a beautiful and photogenic couple...So stay tuned...I'll be posting some sneak peeks soon...Kisses!
From the Patterson's!!! We hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season!! I am still receiving in orders and all that have been ordered are promised to be in before Christmas. Bear with me...The Holidays slow things down...I promise I am doing the best I possibly can to ensure everything arrives in on time as promised!!! Here is our Christmas Card for 2007...It was a 5x5 tri-fold that opened up like a booklet. I think the recepients really loved this one!! I sure did. It was my most favorite card I have ever sent out...Enjoy!!!
Here are a few of this little "Miss Merry Christmas", looking all festive and adorable on her way to Santa's Village. She had the most darling little handmade outfit on...Too cute! As a passerby said while we were shooting, "it doesn't get any cuter than this!"...I have to agree with that person...She is just the cutest of the cutes...Enjoy!
As promised, here are the outtakes from my recent session with my two angels...Ummm, not sure if they can keep the title of angels after I post these images...haha...Bless their little hearts...they did so great for me as they always do but they got tired during this phase of the session...This was the last fifteen minutes. At this point, they were tired of each other and were in the typical sibling rivalry mode. And, I was in the negotiating/bribing stage...Ice Cream was the prize!! Its amazing what Ice Cream can do...And, it was worth it...I got some great images of these two for our Christmas Cards and keepsakes...and these outtakes are priceless to me because it also shows the "real" them, not just the picture perfect them...As you can see, I too struggle with capturing the perfect shot at times. It takes lots of patience, lots of work, and a quick draw to get "the shot"! Enjoy these!! This may be the only time you get to see a sneak peek behind the scenes!!!
